Duran Duran Forced to Cancel Gothenburg Show Originally Scheduled for Wednesday June 15, 2011

**Promoter to refund all tickets

Following the recent cancellation of the first six shows of their ALL YOU NEED IS NOW WORLD TOUR, due to singer Simon Le Bon having an acute case of laryngitis, Duran Duran have been forced to cancel their show in Gotheburg, originally planned for Wednesday June 15, 2011, on doctor's advice. The Gothenburg show, slated to play at the Lisebergshallen would have fallen in the middle of a run of three consecutive shows (Copenhagen, Gothenburg, Stockholm), which follow a day off after three gigs in Paris, The Hague, and Brussels, and doctor's have advised Le Bon that this could cause a relapse in his laryngitis.

The band are sorry to have to disappoint fans in Gothenburg and hope that they are able to find a date later in the year to come back.

All tickets for the cancelled show will be fully refunded. Stockholm and Copenhagen will go ahead as previously planned.
