Duran Duran Nominated for Lunas del Auditorio 2005 Award

CITY OF MEXICO, Mexico, August 25, 2005 - Maria Cristina Garci'a Cepeda, executive coordinator of the National Audience, met with more than 300 personalities in the world of entertainment and culture to decide on the nominated artists for the Lunas del Auditorio 2005 awards, presented to outstanding live shows performed in Mexico.

The National Audience obtained data on concerts that took place from the April 1, 2004 through March 31, 2005 in all the national territories, with a total of 476 concerts.

The company Consulta Mitofsky carried out a survey in ten cities, with the people surveyed voting for the performances that were the most outstanding.

The results of this survey were given to a group of specialists, who will the vote in 17 categories. Some of the categories are:
